Devcon Capital 16 gets permit for 165 units at Maroochydore

The description reads as a multiple dwelling (165 units) and short-term accommodation, plus a food and drink outlet. It also names “Project Urban” alongside Devcon Capital 16 Pty Ltd.

The numbers

The register gives 165 units in the description and does not state a storey count, floor area or project value, so we do not report any.

A second, combined application, RAL26/0036, covers reconfiguring a lot. Its description reads “1 Lots Into 2 Lots and Volumetric Access Easements”. Its decision is listed as Development Permit, with progress “Decided or Past” and application type Reconfiguring A Lot, also assessed at Code level.

Both entries are at 41-43 Aerodrome Road, Maroochydore, Queensland 4558, and both list the same assessment officer, John Borthwick. The MCU26/0101 entry lists the use as “Business;Residential; Multi Unit Residential;”, while RAL26/0036 lists the use as Business. Both show the land parcel as “Lodged over current land parcel” and the appeal result as “Not Applicable”. Neither page states a lot and plan number or a lodgement date.

The MCU26/0101 entry also lists the steps completed in assessment. Part 1 was marked properly made. A confirmation notice was sent. External referral written notice commenced and a response was received. An information request was sent and answered, and a decision notice was sent.

What’s next

The register does not list conditions on either application, and the documents linked from the pages were not readable in our check. We cannot say what conditions attach to the permit, when work might start, or who will build and market the units.

Neither entry names a builder, a sales agent or a delivery timeline.
