BG Infrastructure Servcices creditors to decide fate on 26 October
Romanis Cant's Manuel Hanna will put a deed of arrangement, a wind-up or an exit from administration to creditors five weeks after taking the appointment.
Creditors of BG Infrastructure Servcices Pty Ltd, ACN 648 446 673, will meet in Melbourne on 26 October 2026 to vote on the company’s fate, according to a notice of second meeting of creditors published on 16 October 2026 by administrator Manuel Hanna of Romanis Cant. Victorian builders and suppliers owed money by the company have until noon on 23 October to lodge a proof of debt if they want a vote.
Why it matters
The notice, lodged under subsection 439A(1) of the Corporations Act, marks the formal end point of the first phase of the administration. Hanna was appointed administrator of the company on 18 September 2026, giving the firm roughly five weeks to investigate the company’s business, property and financial affairs before reporting back to creditors, as the Corporations Act requires. The notice does not disclose a creditor count, a debt figure or a list of projects, and none is reported here.
For a company operating under an infrastructure services name, a second meeting is the point at which the administrator’s own recommendation becomes public for the first time, through the report tabled at the meeting. Creditors are not bound by that recommendation. They vote on three options under the Act: that the company sign a deed of company arrangement, that the administration end and control return to the company, or that the company be wound up and move into liquidation. No vote has been taken, and no outcome has been decided.
The numbers
Administrator Manuel Hanna of Romanis Cant was appointed on 18 September 2026. The second creditors meeting is scheduled for 10am on 26 October 2026 The notice lists Romanis Cant’s office at 106 Hardware Street, Melbourne, as the location and marks the meeting online only. Creditors wishing to vote must lodge proofs of debt or claim, and any proxies, with the administrator by 12 noon AEDT on 23 October 2026.
The meeting agenda, as set out in the notice, also covers the administrator’s remuneration to date, the future remuneration of an administrator, deed administrator or liquidator if one is appointed, and whether to form a committee of inspection if the company is wound up. The notice separately flags that creditors will be told of any transaction the administrator considers voidable under Part 5.7B of the Act, meaning a payment or transfer a liquidator could later seek to recover. No such transaction is identified in the notice itself.
What’s next
The vote on 26 October will determine which of the three statutory paths the company takes. A deed of company arrangement would let the company continue trading under agreed terms with creditors; a return of control would end the administration outright; a winding-up resolution would move the company into liquidation, with a liquidator then appointed to realise assets for creditors. Romanis Cant’s contact for the matter is listed in the notice as Benny Baldacchino.
No director of the company is named in the notice, and none is reported here. The notice does not identify any construction or infrastructure project connected to the company, so none is reported. Any later notice of the meeting’s outcome, or a subsequent ASIC filing such as a deed execution or a winding-up notice, will be the next verifiable step in this matter.
