Victorian trades insolvencies: BNK Civil, Geelong Interior Linings
ASIC notices of 12 October 2026: BNK Civil enters creditors' liquidation while Geelong Interior Linings and On Call Plumber are in small business restructuring.
Five Victorian construction companies appeared in ASIC’s published notices on 12 October 2026, each in a different legal process. For a subcontractor, the process decides whether a debt is lost, paid under a plan, or still in dispute.
Why it matters
BNK Civil Pty Ltd (ACN 644 930 610) is in creditors’ voluntary liquidation, with Liam Bellamy of Mackay Goodwin appointed liquidator. That process ends the company: assets are sold and creditors share what is recovered.
Geelong Interior Linings Pty Ltd (ACN 646 463 816) and On Call Plumber Pty Ltd (ACN 661 147 575) are in small business restructuring. Directors keep control while a restructuring practitioner, Nathan Lee Deppeler for the Geelong plasterer and Ivan Glavas for the plumber, both of Worrells, helps prepare a repayment plan that creditors vote on. The notice for Geelong Interior Linings records an extended proposal period.
S.A.P. Electrical Services Pty Ltd (ACN 087 463 134) is in voluntary administration under Jeremy Robert Abeyratne of APL Insolvency, who takes control to decide whether to rescue, sell or wind up the business. The Australian Business Register shows its ABN active since 10 April 2000.
M.A.D. Construction Pty Ltd (ACN 655 140 202) is different again. Morley Capital Australia Ltd has applied to wind it up. That is an allegation, not a finding, and the company is not in liquidation.
The numbers
- 5 companies, 12 October 2026 notices
- 1 creditors’ liquidation, 2 small business restructurings, 1 voluntary administration, 1 winding-up application
- 28 October 2026: Supreme Court of Victoria hearing on the M.A.D. Construction application
What’s next
Subcontractors owed money should lodge claims with the named practitioner and check contract terms for security of payment rights. Restructuring proposals go to creditor vote, so Geelong and On Call creditors should watch for them. For the M.A.D. hearing, the court outcome will confirm whether a liquidator is appointed.
