Coronation finishes 127 homes at Ashbury Terraces, inner west Sydney

The second stage arrived roughly a year behind Coronation's 2024 target, and the finished apartments and terraces are now listed at price on request.

Ashbury Terraces, Coronation Property Group’s 127-home project on Milton Street in Ashbury, is complete and listed for sale, apartments.com.au said in an Instagram post in October 2026. The post describes the development as construction complete and ready to move in, with one to three-bedroom apartments and three-bedroom terraces beside W H Wagener Oval, about 10 kilometres from the Sydney CBD.

SJB designed the project, which Coronation split into two stages totalling 68 townhouses and 59 apartments, 127 homes in all. Coronation told apartments.com.au in March 2024 that stage one was on track to finish by the end of that year, with stage two due in the second half of 2025. The October 2026 completion post puts the final stage roughly a year past that timetable, with no reason given for the slip.

In March 2024, SJB director Adam Haddow said the focus was on “spacious, light-filled homes” with a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor spaces. Coronation managing director Joseph Nahas said buyers were seeing value in larger terrace-style homes with communal amenities and oversized backyards. The completion post describes a heated pool, gym, barbecue area and landscaped gardens.

Why it matters

For Sydney’s inner west, Ashbury Terraces adds 127 completed homes at a single parkside site that pairs 68 townhouses with 59 apartments, all delivered under one development rather than separate stages lodged apart. It lands alongside other Inner West apartment activity, including Landcom’s 580-home conversion of the former WestConnex construction compound in nearby Annandale into housing for essential workers.

The stage two delay, finishing roughly a year after Coronation’s own 2025 target, is not explained in either the March 2024 report or the October 2026 completion post. Neither source states a reason for the slip, and this report does not speculate on one.

The post points to Ashfield station and the future Canterbury Metro as nearby, with no timetable given for the Metro, so nothing in this report confirms that project’s progress.

The numbers

Ashbury Terraces totals 127 homes: 68 townhouses and 59 apartments, by our own addition of the two figures apartments.com.au reported separately in March 2024. The outlet did not publish a single combined total itself. The October 2026 post promotes one to three-bedroom apartments alongside three-bedroom terraces, though it does not break down how many of each size remain for sale.

No price is published. Every home on the current listing is marked price on request, and a limited-time stamp duty offer applies to selected homes, apartments.com.au’s listing page shows. The same listing credits SJB as architect and names no builder on the page itself. The developer, Coronation Property Group, comes from apartments.com.au’s own March 2024 construction report, not from this week’s completion post.

What’s next

Coronation and apartments.com.au have not published a sales timeline or disclosed how many of the 127 homes remain unsold at completion. Buyers now move through a standard sales process rather than an off the plan contract, since every home is built and ready for occupation.

We will check back on the Ashbury Terraces listing once apartments.com.au or Coronation publishes pricing or a sold-out notice. We have not found any outstanding development application tied to the site that would affect the finished buildings.
