RBOG Investment Holdings Pty Ltd, which formerly traded as RBO Group, was wound up by the Supreme Court of Western Australia on 27 October 2026. The court appointed Giovanni Maurizio Carrello of BRI Ferrier Western Australia as liquidator, according to an ASIC published notice dated 28 October 2026. Builders, suppliers and anyone else owed money by the company now deal with the liquidator, not its directors.
Why it matters
The notice was issued under subsection 465A(2) of the Corporations Act, which covers a winding-up order and the appointment of a liquidator. A court-ordered winding up is made by a judge. That differs from a creditors’ or members’ voluntary liquidation, where the company’s own people resolve to wind it up. Once a liquidator is appointed, control of the company’s assets and affairs passes from the directors to the liquidator.
The notice gives the trading name RBO Group but does not describe the business, its registered office or who applied for the order. No outlet coverage of the company was located at the time of writing.
The numbers
RBOG Investment Holdings is registered under ACN 669 528 894 and ABN 91 669 528 894, and its status on the notice is In Liquidation. The court made the order on 27 October 2026 and the notice was published on the ASIC register a day later, on 28 October. The notice does not state a debt figure, a petitioning creditor or a court file number. It names Steven Wong as the contact person at the liquidator’s office, at Level 4, 673 Murray Street, West Perth, on (08) 6316 2600.
The ASIC notice is the only public record of the liquidation located so far. It does not say whether RBO Group had projects, employees or customers in WA at the time of the order.
What’s next
Carrello, of BRI Ferrier Western Australia in West Perth, now runs the process of identifying and realising the company’s assets and reporting to creditors. Any creditors’ meeting, dividend or deregistration notice would be published on the same ASIC register. The filing follows other recent WA insolvency notices, including S & E Engineering’s winding-up application. The Australian Developer will report further notices as they are published.
