Four construction and fit-out companies with ties to the NSW building trade were ordered into liquidation on 27 and 28 October 2026, according to notices published on the ASIC register by 29 October. Two of the orders came from the Supreme Court of New South Wales and two from the Supreme Court of Victoria. AP Construct Pty Ltd, Lux Kitchens And Bathrooms Pty Ltd, RM Building Dynamics Pty Ltd and Concept Formwork & Constructions Pty Ltd each had a liquidator appointed by court order, a cluster that lands squarely in the subcontracting layer the state’s building sector depends on.

Why it matters

AP Construct Pty Ltd, Lux Kitchens And Bathrooms Pty Ltd, RM Building Dynamics Pty Ltd and Concept Formwork & Constructions Pty Ltd are each listed “In Liquidation” on the ASIC register, following a winding up order and the appointment of a liquidator between 27 and 28 October 2026. The four cover the trades a head contractor needs to finish a job: construction, kitchen and bathroom fit-out, and formwork.

A fifth company on the same insolvency notices, F & S Formwork Pty Ltd, also moved to “In Liquidation” status, on 27 October. This masthead reported on 13 October that the Workers Compensation Nominal Insurer had applied to wind up F & S Formwork, with a hearing listed for 27 October; the order ASIC published that day is the result of that hearing, not a new matter.

Two of the four winding up orders, against AP Construct and Lux Kitchens And Bathrooms, were made in the Supreme Court of New South Wales. The other two, against RM Building Dynamics and Concept Formwork & Constructions, were made in the Supreme Court of Victoria, as recorded on each company’s own ASIC notice.

The numbers

AP Construct Pty Ltd, ACN 681 952 830, was wound up on 27 October 2026 in the Supreme Court of New South Wales. Antony Resnick and Henry Kwok of DVT McLeods were appointed joint liquidators, with the notice published 29 October.

Lux Kitchens And Bathrooms Pty Ltd, ACN 657 593 578, was wound up on 28 October 2026 in the Supreme Court of New South Wales. Glenn Livingstone of WLP Restructuring was appointed liquidator, notice published 29 October.

RM Building Dynamics Pty Ltd, ACN 621 966 710, was wound up on 28 October 2026 in the Supreme Court of Victoria. Stephen John Michell of PCI Partners was appointed liquidator, notice published 29 October.

Concept Formwork & Constructions Pty Ltd, ACN 603 602 633, was wound up on 28 October 2026 in the Supreme Court of Victoria. Michael Gregory Jones of Jones Partners Insolvency & Restructuring was appointed liquidator, notice published 28 October.

None of the four notices discloses a dollar value for creditor claims or project contracts affected; that detail, if it exists, sits with the appointed liquidators and will surface, if at all, in a creditors’ report.

What’s next

Each company’s ASIC record shows only the winding up order and the liquidator’s appointment; AP Construct and Concept Formwork & Constructions have one notice published against them so far, Lux Kitchens And Bathrooms, RM Building Dynamics and F & S Formwork two. Any further step, a creditors’ meeting or a report as to affairs, will appear on the same ASIC published notices register as a fresh entry against each company.
